Whether you know exactly the type of job you want in the future, or are feeling a little lost about what you want to do when you grow up, don’t worry, you’re not alone! Speed networking can come in really handy for all teens. By attending an AZYF  speed networking event, you’ll get the chance to meet professionals from lots of different fields and learn about what they do. This can give you a better idea of what kinds of jobs are out there and what you might be interested in pursuing in the future. 

Congratulations to Charles Anderson III, the latest winner of the Bayless Entrepreneur Program! Charles, a senior at West Point High School, pitched his plan to our panel of judges and won $2500 seed money to start his business.

If you’re not feeling the college vibe or just don’t think it’s the right path for you, that’s totally okay. Pursuing a career in skilled trades can be just as rewarding. That’s where the “Skilled Trade Education Program” comes in. The Bloss family has established this scholarship to help underserved teens who are interested in skilled trades as a career. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, books, and tools, so you can focus on learning and building your skills without worrying about the financial burden.

We have expanded our locations at AZYouthForce, and are excited to welcome you to our new office in the West Valley! It was important to AZYF to obtain an office space in the West Valley to be able to serve teens from the area. The need for programs like AZYF in the West Valley was evident, and AZYF wants to eliminate any barrier that may conflict with teens’ career pathways or experiences with the program.
