Project Interns
Work in a fast-paced environment with job teams encompassing a wide range of positions and experience. These projects are high-profile and important to the fabric of the communities. They are among the largest healthcare construction projects currently underway in the Valley.

- Exposure to Lean construction material types
- Carry and load materials for use on-site
- Learn about and gain exposure to a variety of tools and equipment
- Maintain job-specific tools and equipment as needed
- Help with general project site clean-up
- Learn job safety requirements for all phases of construction
- Introduction to all phases of the construction process
- Interact with a variety of trade partners, including understanding how a general contractor manages trades
- Exposure to various aspects of field work: painting, carpentry, masonry, steel erection, concrete and framing
Equipment Yard Intern
Our Equipment Yard team is critical to the success of our jobs, and team members are exposed to a wide range of projects, people and services. A strong commitment to customer service is essential.
- Observance of all safety measures
- Prep yard for start & close of business
- Keep all equipment inventories up to date with status for reuse
- Assist loading & unloading equipment as yard flow dictates
- As equipment returns, notify equipment yard foreman of conditions of damage, or unserviceableness
- Stage returned equipment for T/A or repair & wash equipment
- Move equipment to front or stage for next use after washed & T/A
- Keep equipment yard area clean & organized (moving equipment and/or vehicles)
- Assist with the delivering and pick up of equipment to and from jobsites
- Report directly to Equipment Yard Foreman
- Ensure equipment meets company quality standards of cleanliness
- Minor repairs and light servicing of equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Kitchell Fleet Services
Kitchell Fleet Services maintains commercial vehicles of many high-profile local businesses and privately owned vehicles. They benefit from a great reputation and repeat business from customers who walk in the door and are known by first name. The team is close-knit and committed to a high level of customer service.
- Use your education to work on commercial trucks and cars
- Assist with performing inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Assist with diagnosing, rebuilds, repairs and replacing parts in vehicles and equipment
- Assist with tuning automotive vehicle engines to ensure efficient operations
- Assist with preparing and maintaining records and reports of repairs made, work orders and time worked
- Assist other technicians as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- Pay: $23 an hour
- Where: (In-person) Multiple locations; Intern can typically be placed at a location that is convenient for them.
- When: End of June to the beginning of August. Interns will work 30 hours a week Monday – Friday from about 9:30AM – 4PM. This internship is about 7 weeks long and interns must be available all 7 weeks no exceptions. (If they have a vacation scheduled during this time, this internship will not work for them.)
