AZYouthforce is excited to launch a brand-new Bayless Entrepreneurship Program, thanks to funding from a generous donor!
This internship is a great fit for teens who:
- Want to start your own business
- Think outside the box
- Have no experience
Based on a Learn-to-Earn model, youth will:
- Attend weekly Saturday sessions for six weeks
- Be paid for your time in the program (after completing 20-30 hours of our Academy).
- Be matched with a business mentor
- The business mentor will help you prepare for the final stage of the internship, a pitch contest.
- Pitch for seed money to start your own business.
- The winner of the contest will receive $2,500!

Read MoreHaskins Electric has been offering electrical solutions to the Valley for over 20 years. They’re excited to be working with BGCAZ to bring electrical internships to Valley teens over the age of 18.
Following completion of the AZYF Academy, interns will work as Electrician Helpers. Electrician Helpers assist electricians at commercial and residential electrical sites. Interns will learn the basics of tasks such as hanging fixtures, pulling circuits, and installing wiring.
Positions Available:
- Warehouse Position (Age 17)
- Field Position (Age 18)
Interns with Haskins Electric have the potential to be offered employment, if the internship is a good fit.

Following completion of the AZYF Academy, interns will work as Courtesy Techs or Lube Technicians. Courtesy Techs are responsible for automatic and manual transmission vehicles, greeting customers, writing up work orders, and performing basic automotive services such as cleaning windows, inflating tires, and vacuuming vehicles. Lube Technicians perform all the functions of a Courtesy Tech, with the addition of oil changes, explaining services and products to customers, and other various fluid fills and filter changes.
