Meet Denver: an AZY Ambassador!
Denver Bryant joined our program in the summer of 2023 as an intern for Bank of America. As someone who went through the program, her internship was a way for her to learn about the banking industry, grow as a person and apply her teachings to her everyday life. She’s currently studying Film & Media Production at Arizona State University with the dream of being a professional video editor.

Meet your first wave of Emerging Leaders! This group of 14 to 17-year-olds spent the day at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley Thunderbirds Guadalupe Branch for leadership training. This mandatory training will prepare them to work at BGCAZ locations all over the Valley for the summer! Good job team!

College Alternatives
Teens–there is more than one path to success! College is an excellent path, but other options are just as rewarding. There is a whole world of skilled trades out there just waiting for talented and motivated people like you!
The Boys and Girls Club is presenting a Trades Boot Camp in partnership with GateWay Community College. Trades Bootcamp is a comprehensive, four-day, 32-hour program to introduce you to four different trades that you can be successful in right out of high school.
Most skilled trades involve some hands-on training, and the S.T.E.P. Scholarship Fund was established to help cover the cost of tools, tuition, and books for teens looking to make a career in the skilled trades. Learn more about the scholarship and how to get started in the trades below!
